I am continually caught in the thought process of “I will not be able to do this perfectly, so why even bother?” I have thought this way in terms of trying a new hobby, eating healthy, working out, expanding my professional career skills, and so many other things. I may give something the “ol’ college try” then fail and never circle back. However, looking back I am more proud of myself for the times I tried and failed then the times I never tried at all.
As someone who tries to live intentionally, I find myself gravitating to articles, videos, and conversations that pertain to minimalism and intentionality on a regular basis. It is not talked about on a daily basis, so in order to encourage the habit and the mindset, I like to be reminded. This blog could be one source that brings up intentional topics for you. Ideas to ponder or try out if you are looking for a change.
When learning about sustainability, regenerative farming is a topic that really is fascinating. Growing up in a farming community and North Dakota being mostly farmland, it is exciting to know that regenerative agriculture is a key tool in combating climate change.
